After the Natural History Museum, we went home and Isabel and I took a nap. When we woke up, I let Bill rest while I took the girls to
The Beach (a whopping 2 blocks from our condo)
We walked about a mile to go to this really cool playground in Chase Palm Park called "The Shipwreck". The girls liked it, but clearly Isabel was not that happy about the photograph
Finally, we returned to the Carousel. I wish I had taken a lot more pictures of it, as it was really, really cool. I rode on it twice even. The girls talk more about this than anything other than the 5 giraffes at the zoo.
On Wednesday we went to the Railroad Museum, which was smaller than I imagined, but very cool.
They had the old Goleta Depot decked out as it was in the early 1900s. You can see a bit of the miniature train in the background of this shot - the girls and I were on it -

Bill and I didn't manage to get any pictures of the girls on the little train (we each rode with them once), but here is what it looked like

There was also a Caboose all decked out from the 1930s. Check out the cool pink engineer's caps on the girls!
